Oracle E-Business Suite High Availability with Red Hat Cluster Suite
Integra can provide customers highly available solutions for Oracle E-Business Suite using the Red Hat Cluster Suite with far greater ROI and lesser complexity than using Oracle High Availability Components like Real Application Clusters.
One solution would entail splitting the Application and Database functions over multiple nodes (at the most basic level, over 2 nodes), so that the Database would run on one node, and the Application on the other. Red Hat Cluster Services would then monitor the status of the services and would switch the services to the surviving node in case of a node failure.
