Integra Technologies has a good number of GNU/Linux based enterprise servers and applications deployed in the United Arab Emirates and the wider Middle East. We are growing and have more deployments in the pipeline and are looking out for a person who can manage the sales and marketing division of the company.

We do not yet have a dedicated sales and marketing team at Integra. We continue to grow organically, and most of the work we get are through word of mouth, client references, and of course through our presence on the Internet. We are a tech dominated company as of now, but we'd like to grow the company into a broader, more professional and mature organization.

We find that some of the path breaking work we do, like deploying a multi server, highly available cluster of email servers capable to scaling to tens of thousands of users, at a fraction of the cost of proprietary solutions have to be publicized more. We have to gain wider market share, and that share has to come from the proprietary software solution providers.

Linux adoption percentage in the Middle East is minuscule. But that presents an opportunity. A great opportunity. The fact that GNU/Linux is well established in the data center in the Western and Asian markets, gives it great credibility.

We are looking for a sales and marketing leader who has to market and promote GNU/Linux based products and solutions to Enterprises and Data Centers in the A/GCC. They must be able to educate and convert mindsets. The candidate should also be able to tie up with vendors and distributors for products and solutions.

You should have the ability to promote the company and its products and solutions through publications, websites, personal contacts and other channels.

You should be presentable, should be a person who can learn on the fly and can converse well in the English language.

We are not looking for managers, we are looking for leaders. And you can be 20 or 50, but like what Steven Jobs asked John Sculley a long time back, do you want to be among the ones who are changing the IT scenario in the Middle East ? (Don't think of firing anyone yet, though.)
