Integra provides Cyberoam based UTM protection to RAK Hospital

RAK Hospital is an advanced Secondary care multispecialty hospital is promoted by Arabian Healthcare, a joint venture between the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, under the aegis of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and the Dubai-based ETA Star Healthcare.

RAK Hospital needed to secure its multiple access points to the Internet, as well as provide application and user based priority to outgoing traffic. Since medical records needed to be accessed securely from remote locations by consulting doctors, it was imperative that a secure solution be implemented at the RAK Hospital.

Besides optimising Internet usage and conserving bandwidth, the deployment of the Cyberoam UTM provided a much needed layer of additional security to the hospital operations.
